On 26th April, a selection of Soundwell students were invited to the first regional Schools Summit, hosted by regional mayor, Dan Norris, including students representing nearly every secondary school in Bristol.

The Summit offered students from our region the opportunity to discuss and influence regional policy on some of the most pressing challenges our region faces. Our students participated in workshops regarding the very live, local possibilities available to them when thinking about their future opportunities and seeing how keeping an active mind and body can hugely positively impact our future well-being and work. The hugely inspiring Concord setting added to a memorable experience for our Soundwell ambassadors at the event. After all, the future is very much theirs…
